Potato fry


Potato fry:

Most of the people like potatoes because of its delicious taste.

Potato fry ingredients:

2/3 Potatoes
1 Onion
1 tablespoon Turmeric powder
Sambar masala powder/chilli powder/green Chilli
Salt for taste
5 tablespoon Cooking oil
1 tablespoon mustard seeds

Potato fry preparation method:

1.Wash the potatoes to clean the dirt.Cut the potatoes into small pieces.Like that cut the onion.
2.Heat cooking oil with mustard seeds in a skillet.After that put onion and fry until it becomes golden brown in color.
3.Then put potatoes.Add salt,sambar masala powder/chillipowder/green chilli,turmeric powder.Finally add 2 cups of water into the skillet and stir fry all the contents.

Appam

Appam

Appam is very delicious to taste.We can have appam as an evening snack.Let us see how to do appam.

Ingredients to make appam
1 cup of maida flour
1/4 cup of raw rice
4 table spoon of rava
4 table spoon of corn flour
1 table spoon of baking soda
1 cup of sugar
2 cardamom
Cooking oil

Preparing method of appam
1.First mix all the above ingredients using 1/4 cup of water.
2.Heat oil in a skillet.Take a spoon and start to pour appam mix in a skillet.
3.Deep fry appam until it becomes golden brown in colour.Appam ready.

Lady's finger fry Ingredients:
1/4 kg lady finger
2 green chilli
1 onion
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
5 tablespoon cooking oil
Salt for taste

 Lady's finger fry preparation method:
1.Heat cooking oil in a skillet.Then put onion and green chilli.Fry until it becomes golden brown colour.

2.Put lady's  finger in that.With that add turmeric powder, salt.Stir fry all the ingredients.

Wheat Rava Upma



Wheat rava upma:

Wheat based items are a highly nutritious food.Wheat contains vitamins,minerals.Wheat is very healthy for diabetes. 

Rava upma Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Wheat rava
2 dry chilli
1 onion
3 table spoon cooking oil
Curry leaves and Coriander leaves
Salt for taste

Rava upma preparation method:
1.Heat cooking oil in a skillet.Then put the onion,curry leaves and fry it until it becomes golden brown in   colour.With that put dry chilli.

2.Add 3 cups of water in a skillet.After that put wheat rava and stir fry all the contents.Finally put curry and coriander leaves.Upma ready.

Spinach smash



Spinach smash:

Spinach is one of the healthiest green leafy vegetables.Spinach has high source of Vitamin A,E,Iron,Calcium.Also spinach is a very healthier food for diabetes.

How to do Spinach smash?


Spinach smash Ingredients:

2 bunch of Spinach
2 Tomatoes
1 small bowl of Moong dal
Dry Chillies/green chillies
1 tablespoon Asafoetida
1 tablespoon Turmeric powder
Podisu Onion
Salt for taste

Spinach smash preparation method:

1.First wash the spinach well.Peel the onion.

2.Put some quantity of moong dal in cooker.With that put tomatoes,dry chilli,turmeric powder, asafoetida ,washed spinach,peeled onion.

3.After 2/3  cooker whistle,wait for some minutes and open the cooker.Now add salt for taste.   

4.Spinach smash ready now.Serve it hot.
